This view is a favorite among artists and tourists. This was painted on a beautiful summer day when a group of plein air artists agreed to meet. The ocean water was mostly flat, with an occasional lobster boat scurrying about. While this area is usually quite breezy, on this day it was not. My friends and I painted for about 3 hours, then enjoyed a few minutes of sharing our creations. It is always fun and remarkable that we each paint so differently!!!
